A massive thank you to all the corporate support so far for the ‘Sunnybank Secret Garden’ project. We got valuable design expertise from One-Environments, a land survey from Three Sixty Group. Then the project was lucky enough to receive support from Home Group.
They are building a new head office at One Strawberry Lane (next to St James’ Park) in Newcastle. They want to support the local community while they build their new head office, and in the longer term. To help make this happen, they are working with their building developer partners, Ask and BAM, to offer support to community projects between now and autumn 2022.
This week the gardens have been strimmed and prepped ready for further works in the summer holidays. The womens’ wellbeing group have named the garden ‘Sunnybank Secret Garden’ and they have even been busy coming up with ideas for the logo. All will be revealed soon.
There are lots of ways to get involved with Upstart Enterprise. You could roll up your sleeves to volunteer or take part in one of our skills or enterprise programmes.
